Introduction
In the era of digital transformation, PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) recognized the need to maintain and optimize its existing applications. The project aimed to address issues related to application maintenance, standardize development processes, and enhance the security and functionality of the applications. The initiative included a thorough assessment, implementation of best practices, and continuous monitoring and support.

The Challenge
Decentralized Application Management, Lack of Comprehensive Documentation, Dependence on External Experts, In-House Development Gaps, Standardization Needs

Decentralized Application Management
Many applications were managed across different directorates without centralization.

Lack of Comprehensive Documentation
Existing systems lacked detailed documentation.

Dependence on External Experts
There was a high dependency on external vendors and experts for development and maintenance.

In-House Development Gaps
Insufficient in-house development resources to manage applications.

Standardization Needs
Need for standardizing development flows across applications.

Solutions We Used
Infrastructure and Architecture Assessment, Application Maintenance and Improvement, Monitoring and Support

Infrastructure and Architecture Assessment
We conducted a System Assessment to assess the existing applications and infrastructure, and compiled full technical documentation, including SDD, ERD, PRD, and security testing.

Application Maintenance and Improvement
We implemented Seamless Login with Microsoft Azure, managed user logs across applications, and implemented development best practices using Agile Scrum SDLC, DevOps, Git Flow, CI/CD Pipeline, and containerization.

Monitoring and Support
We conduct System Monitoring to monitor the health of applications and infrastructure, perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for routine repairs, and maintain security and backups with regular vulnerability, penetration, stress and backup tests.
